Step aboard our charming Steam Train at Toowoomba Station for a delightful journey through the picturesque landscapes of the Darling Downs, culminating in a day of culinary and creative delights at the Pittsworth Craft and Fine Food Spectacular.

Your adventure begins with a leisurely ride from DownsSteam Toowoomba (16 Cambooya St Drayton) to Pittsworth, where you’ll be treated to stunning views and the warm hospitality of our crew. Upon arrival in Pittsworth, you’ll disembark to explore the vibrant festival, featuring a diverse array of food stalls, handcrafted goods, and local artisan displays. Savor the flavors of the region, find unique treasures, and soak in the lively atmosphere of this beloved annual event.

After a day of indulgence and discovery, reboard the railmotor for a relaxed return trip to Toowoomba Station. It’s the perfect way to experience the charm of country life, all while traveling in comfort and style.

Hurry, tickets for this exclusive event are limited! Passengers will have the opportunity to experience the Steam train. .

The total experience will last approximately 6.5 hours. The Railmotor will depart DownsSteams Station (16 Cambooya St ) at 9:00am, and arrive Pittsworth at 10:30 AM, guests will then join the festival, before boarding the train at 2:00 PM and returning to DownsSteamToowoomba by 3:30 PM.

Concession fares are not available for this trip.

Please plan to arrive at DownsSteam (16 Cambooya St Drayton) Station 30 minutes before departure.

We will endeavour to honour advance seating requests, however, we cannot guarantee any particular seat. We reserve the right to assign or reassign seats at any time, even after boarding the train. This may be necessary for operational, safety, security or other reasonable reasons.

Due to the increased risk if fire during the month of October, Steam locomotive may be replaced by a diesel locomotive.
